What it covers:
- Full tuition fees
- Monthly living allowance (approximately £1,300/month in London or £1,023 elsewhere)
- Economy class return airfare to and from the UK
- Travel expenses for attending Chevening events
- Additional grants in some circumstances
Who is eligible:
- Citizens of eligible Chevening countries (check chevening.org for the current list — over 160 countries)
- At least 2 years of work experience (paid employment) by the time you start your studies
- Have an undergraduate degree (at least 2:1 or equivalent)
- Apply to 3 different UK universities as part of the process
- Intent to return to your home country after the scholarship (usually required)
- Strong leadership potential and community involvement
What it does NOT cover:
- Dependants (family cannot be included)
- PhD programmes (Chevening is for one-year Master's only)
