IDP Education Indonesia supported me through every stage of the application — from shortlisting universities to visa submission. The process took roughly four months in total, which aligned with what they told me at the start. I particularly appreciated the mock visa interview preparation. The cost was on the higher end compared to other agencies I enquired with, but the service justified it.

IDP Jakarta is excellent. As an Indonesian applicant I was worried about the GTE requirement — Australian immigration takes a careful look at Indonesian applicants' genuine temporary entrant intentions. My counsellor was upfront about this, spent a long session building a strong personal circumstances statement, and my visa was approved in 4.5 weeks. Could not have managed this without IDP.

The counsellor knew the Russell Group universities well and helped me understand that my 3.5 GPA from Universitas Indonesia was considered competitive for programmes at University of Sheffield and Leeds. Got into Sheffield for MSc Computer Science. Very happy.

My counsellor explained the SDS eligibility requirements clearly and helped me choose a GAANN-listed institution that qualified for faster SDS processing. As a postgraduate student at Monash University in Australia, I was really stuck with visa issues for my school-aged child. It was a nightmare—contacting one agent who just suggested I go ahead alone, enroll my kid in school once I'm there, and handle the visa later so they could follow. I even reached out directly to a school based on an old YouTube video from a student two years ago, but they flat-out said they couldn't issue a Letter of Acceptance (LoA). Not recommended to take your IELTS test here. By now I’ve taken the test about 3 times for various university or work reasons. I’ve always gotten 8.0-8.5, consistently. This is the first time I’ve gotten 7.5. The speaking test staff they have is unprofessional and eager to cut you off through facial cues. The questions they ask during the test aren’t commonly found in everyday life. They also jump between completely unrelated topics. The way they frame their questions aren’t grammatically accurate either. This is not how real conversation goes. It’s also bewildering how they judge essays as the grade I was given suggests grammatical errors were made. Rest assured, they were not. The only grades that remain consistent with my previous tests were the listening and reading, which all had 1 correct answer anyway. Furthermore, the speaking test schedule was pushed before the agreed time slot, with only an email 1 day before to warn you. The rest of the tests also started 20 minutes late. I would do a one skill retake, but this venue doesn’t provide it. I highly suggest another place for a more unbiased grading that’s truly reflective of your english skill. The only universe where the speaking test makes sense is if we lived in a world where english speakers spoke like the mad hatter. I hope this review helps other unfortunate souls avoid their biased testing. Such a shame, at that price point you’d expect a more accurate evaluation. Otherwise, the general staff was great and professional.

A really great institution to help you prepare for overseas study. Carolina supported me throughout the entire process. She helped me with my LoAs, enrollment, and even setting up my bank account! Overall, the service was excellent, and they were very honest about everything, which made it much easier to work things out. 10/10 — I would recommend them to a friend (and I already have, haha).
