I first met Adam Boyd in March 2023, and from the beginning he was very welcoming, professional, and reassuring. Adam is truly one of the kindest human beings I have ever met. He promised me he would handle my case the best way possible, and he truly did.
Throughout my case, Adam spent so much time reviewing every detail, asking for evidence, and guiding me step by step to make sure we had everything needed to win my asylum case. The most stressful part of my journey was my Individual Hearing, and Adam truly walked through that moment with me with patience, confidence, and dedication.
I had two Master Hearings and one Individual Hearing, and on May 20, 2026, my asylum case was granted. I will always be grateful for his hard work and support.
I also want to thank the Gibbs Houston Pauw office for being very communicative throughout the process. A special thank you to Tibisay, Adam’s paralegal, who was always quick to respond to my emails and calls. She put so much effort into my case and was always kind, respectful, and supportive.
I highly recommend Adam Boyd and his team to anyone looking for an immigration attorney who truly cares about his clients and works hard for them.

I have been a client of Gibbs since 2016. I initially applied for asylum with Robert, but a few years later I was informed that he had retired and that I could choose between two attorneys to continue representing me. After carefully reading both of their biographies, I chose Adam Boyd.
From the beginning, Adam was knowledgeable, professional, and confident, which is exactly what you want in an attorney. A few years later, we decided to file a mandamus lawsuit. I consulted with other attorneys as well, and many of them advised against it, leaving me feeling uncertain and fearful. Adam, however, clearly explained the strategy, outlined the potential risks, and set realistic expectations. His confidence gave me confidence and hope throughout the process.
He also took the time to prepare me thoroughly for my asylum interview. After getting to know me and understanding my case, he provided valuable insights and guidance that helped me feel ready.
I also want to thank Anastasia for her patience and kindness, especially during some of the most stressful moments of this journey, and Kelly for her responsiveness and timely communication. Their support made a real difference.
After a 10-year journey, my asylum was finally granted. I couldn't be more grateful to the entire team at Gibbs for their dedication and support. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking compassionate and skilled legal representation. I look forward to continuing to work with them when I become eligible to apply for my green card and, eventually, my U.S. citizenship.

Its never enjoyable to provide a review less than 5 star as I believe its important to be able to share good and positive light when they come.
Yet sadly this firm was the opposite of that.
I communicated with them through email and then calls and they would request for personal info, which was provided. For 8+ days, crickets.
Then after 3 follow up emails, I a response was shared "I will send you confirmation by end of day." And then again... silence.
After 3 follow up messages, and 10 days later, shares another blanet message that says for an appointment in 1 month.
I replied back committing for the call. No reply for another 13 days.
And then after following up. Theres been nothing still. Its been over 2 months.
I believe its important for anyone that is considering this law firm to receive what an honest scenario would look like, that way if it came down between this firm or a different one, this one will likely be less reliable, less communicative, and less respectful.

My case is incredibly complex, and Adam Boyd was one of the very few attorneys willing to take it on. Only a few attorneys in the area handle the combination of EB-1A, employment-based visas, and immigration court matters. Before I signed the contract, he made sure I had all the information I needed, demonstrating not only transparency but also genuine empathy and understanding. That human touch made this stressful process much easier to navigate! I am still in disbelief by how quickly and cost-effectively he resolved one of the biggest issues I faced, allowing my immigration path to continue smoothly. I cannot recommend him highly enough!!

Worked with this law firm for my family immigration filings. Jason was the paralegal that was assigned to our case. It's already a daunting process, but Jason was extremely great at staying in touch. He always returned my calls/emails. That to me was everything as sometimes its just that reassurance you need. He was kind, professional and went above and beyond in ensuring proper coordination with all agencies. He deserves the top bonus at the firm. Still referring him and Adam on anyone that asks for an immiration attorney.
