Next Level Education

Next Level Education is a study abroad consultancy headquartered on Palali Road, Kondavil, in Jaffna, with a second office in Batticaloa. Founded around 2023 by Kirishanth Satkunaseelan, it focuses on four destinations — the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand — and states that every one of its services is free to students, from initial counselling through to pre-departure orientation. Its strongest pull is regional: students in the Northern and Eastern provinces have historically had to travel to Colombo for in-person counselling, and Next Level Education is one of the few consultancies with a physical presence in both Jaffna and Batticaloa.

Next Level Education does not charge students a placement fee. Like most education agents, it is paid a commission by the universities it places students into. That does not make its advice bad — but the agent is paid by the institution, not by you, so it has more financial reason to recommend a partner university than a non-partner one. Ask which universities it represents, and whether your shortlist is on that list.
