Bou Inania Madrasa is a must-visit while exploring the Medina in Fez. I entered the Medina through one of the access points near the main tannery, and from there it was about a 7–10 minute walk. A quick tip while navigating the Medina: stick to the busier streets, especially if it’s your first time. Pay attention to your surroundings and try to avoid empty or dead-end alleys. Some of these passages get extremely narrow, almost to the point where you have to squeeze through, which can feel uncomfortable. It’s best to stay where there are other people around, particularly other visitors. Now, back to Bou Inania Madrasa, it’s absolutely worth seeing. This school is stunning. The architectural details, intricate carvings, and the central courtyard create a peaceful atmosphere that really stands out from the energy of the Medina. Definitely recommended.

Off the bustling market streets stepping into this serene and beautiful Madrasa. Ideally, you get a spot in the day when the tour groups are not around, but you don't have to queue to get tickets or go in, and you can wander around the courtyard and admire the beautiful carving and archways. They do not allow you upstairs, so you only really need 10 minutes to wander around and read the information provided.

Not many visitors here as people miss the spot due to Google's misdirection. Entry fee is MAD20.0 and you could spend almost an hour at max here.
