EF Education Korea

Good experience overall with EF Education Korea. They have clear processes and the staff seemed genuinely experienced with Canada applications specifically. My offer letter arrived faster than expected. The one area I'd suggest improvement is more proactive communication — I had to chase a few times. But when I did reach out, responses were helpful and accurate. Visa approved, currently settling in.

EF Seoul went above and beyond in giving me the best experience possible! Honestly, I was really happy with everything surrounding the school! A few years ago I already had the pleasure of traveling with EF and that’s why for my first trip to Seoul, I decided to go with an agency I trust: EF. From the informations in my home country as well as the help from the staff in Seoul, I felt welcomed, loved and never lonely or alone! Doesn’t matter how many new students came on board, they never stopped carrying less for the students that arrived before! Regarding the language learning aspect, I think the aspect that all classes are only in Korean is great (don’t be alarmed, you understand a ton and it’s not as scary as I thought) BUT I think I would have liked a warning before hand! Overall an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend this to everyone!!!

I stayed for 10 weeks learning at EF Seoul and it was amazing to learn a new language everyday while staying with a host family! I was able to try so much amazing homemade food and had such a great time staying with my host family, I would highly recommend this option! EF has a way of making it easy to meet new people through the program and has events for you to participate in throughout your time there to help you see more and connect with people. The campus building in Gangnam is beautiful! I loved all the teachers, they were so kind and welcoming. I came here with no Korean skills at all and left with a basic understanding of the language; Going forward I would be set up to continue learning more complex grammar but I didn’t quite leave being able to form many sentences fluently, although the length of time you’re able to stay will help you progress further if you’re here long enough to level up. I would recommend learning as much of the language before going as possible as it will set you up to advance faster and get the most out of your time here. All in all my experience with EF Seoul was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone who is passionate about language learning and is looking to immerse themselves in the culture directly!

This was my second time with EF and I loved it. The teachers are all super nice (and cute). I love their way of teaching. I learned so much in just 3 weeks. The new school is super pretty. All the activities were fun as well. Seoul is such a beautiful city. I can't wait to go back next summer!

I have been to EF seoul 2 times already, its one of the best experience i have had. The staff is so fun (shout out to Ellen ) lots of fun activities as well. The courses they give are very good to get you started learning Korean. You should definitely try it. Its also a great way to explore Seoul and Korea as a whole.

i loved EF Seoul!! the teachers and staff are SO nice!! the classes are so organized and i felt like i learned so much. i started off at zero korean and i have improved so much. they teach at a pace that is quick but doesn’t feel overwhelming. i also loved my host family and had such an amazing time staying with them. they always made me feel at home and cooked delicious food! i would recommend EF Seoul for anyone who wants to learn a language but also explore Seoul. also the school plans activities that you can sign up through the app and it makes it so fun to do things especially if you are traveling alone. the activities were always so fun and always felt very organized!!
