VEC Education Vietnam made the process of applying to USA much less stressful than I expected. The staff were patient with my questions even when I asked the same thing more than once. They were upfront about processing times, which helped me plan. My only feedback would be that the office can get busy and in-person appointments are sometimes hard to schedule. Overall a positive experience.

I visited the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC) today because I heard there was a Tet fair taking place, featuring local specialties from different regions of Vietnam. It turned out to be a really enjoyable experience. There were many booths showcasing regional products, and I managed to buy quite a few interesting items such as yellow camellia tea (trà hoa vàng), bánh gio, and cốm wine (rượu cốm). It was nice to see and purchase products that represent different parts of the country all in one place. Outside the main exhibition areas, there were also food stalls, where I tried a few local dishes. The atmosphere felt lively and festive, very fitting for the Tet season. VEC is a great place to visit during special events like this. It’s a good opportunity to explore Vietnamese culture, shop for regional specialties, and enjoy traditional food in one trip.

Vietnam Exhibition Center, in Dong Anh, with an area of 900,000 m2, is the most modern exhibition, economic and cultural complex in the region, among the top 10 largest exhibition centers in the world and the largest in Southeast Asia today. The center includes the following areas: Kim Quy Exhibition Hall takes shape of the Golden Turtle God - a sacred symbol of the land of Co Loa, a land of talented people. The total area is up to 104,863 m2, with a dome structure made of 24,000 tons of steel. This is the largest circular exhibition hall in the world. Kim Quy Exhibition Hall consists of 9 interconnected halls, which can simultaneously organize many large-scale events, creating flexibility and efficiency in exhibition, trade, conference and art activities of great stature. The main hall roof of the indoor exhibition hall (blue, yellow) symbolizes the head of the Golden Turtle God. 8 sub-hall roofs symbolize the feet. The outdoor exhibition area has a total area of over 200,000 m2, ranking 3rd in the world in terms of scale. In particular, the North yard area can accommdate outdoor events, large music festivals with a capacity of up to 50,000 people. This will be an ideal space for cultural festivals, tourism promotion events, domestic and international art exhibition. The area is landscaped with the crossbow park, the highlight is the giant crossbow standing out as a sacred symbol, reminiscent of the legend of An Duong Vuong founding the Au Lac nation.

The exhibition space is extremely spacious with many unique exhibition booths in many different fields, I had to spend a whole day to experience this place but it was still not enough. It is truly one of the proud works of the Vietnamese people, especially a great highlight for the 80th anniversary of the country's national day.

Does not worth it. It takes a very long queue to even get in the exhibition if you drive, without clear signals about where and how you should go. Once you get in, again there is no clear instructions and you have to walk a pretty long way from the car park to the exhibition under the sun, and the things being presented inside obviously do not worth all the efforts you spent to be here. The experiences are at beginner-level, badly organized in a way more similar to cheap marketing fair, without any depth and concept at all. Please avoid it if you can.
