I approached Ryugaku Journal after struggling to shortlist universities on my own. The counsellor walked me through the options step by step and helped me match programmes to my academic background. My USA student visa was approved without complications. The only minor issue was that replies to my WhatsApp messages took a day or two during peak season, but overall the service was solid and worth the fee.

My company started working with Ryugaku Journal from last year. They are very friendly and have a wonderful selection of study abroad options for everyone.

I was charged a high fee, and the details I'd agreed to at the time of signing the contract and the local support I received were not fulfilled. I asked for a partial refund, but they simply laughed at me and said it was impossible, without giving me any reason. It's my fault for only visiting one company before signing the contract due to lack of time, but the person in charge brazenly admitted that they charged me a higher price than the others. My roommates and classmates at my homestay in the area were also surprised that the price was so high.
PS: I contacted them multiple times at the time to explain the situation, but they didn't even try to address it, despite it being their mistake, so I don't see the point in asking again.

I compared many different agencies, but decided to use Ryugaku Journal because of the cost and support.
I went to them for consultations many times, and they were always kind and always offered realistic advice, which was great!
Also, when I went for a consultation, there were many other people waiting in the waiting area, and I felt a bit relieved that there were so many people out there who were thinking about studying abroad, just like me! lol
I'm going abroad soon, so I'd like to take as many English classes as possible to prepare thoroughly!

We were extremely grateful for the care you provided for my son on a group tour during his summer vacation. From his initial counseling session, to the orientation, on-site support, and follow-up after we returned home, you provided thorough and attentive service in every aspect.
The local language school was homely and caring, and the homestay mother was kind and took good care of him, so my son has decided to study abroad again as soon as he returns home.
I'm glad we asked Ryugaku Journal for their help. We are very grateful.

I studied abroad in Canada. I received a lot of information about procedures and precautions, but I'd like to share some of my experiences there.
1. I was told that 99% of payments in Canada are by credit card, so cash is pointless. However, when I got there, I found many shops that only accepted cash. It seems that you can't actually live solely on card payments yet. I ended up paying extra fees every time.
2. I requested a homestay without animals because I'm not good with them, but I was actually sent to a house with a dog. When I inquired, I was told that this was "international."
I still have more to say, but if you're considering studying abroad, you might want to reconsider.
