River State University is a State owned institution. It is situated in the city centre. A serene environment. Clean and green to. There's a car service near the main gate that takes students and visitors to various locations within the complex. Restaurants, banks, supermarkets and football fields are located in the school. ♿most of the paths are accessible but the main buildings have steps with no ramps

This institution is technologically driven.. Almost everything is done online. Here there are 11 Faculties. Which includes; Faculty of Agriculture Faculty of Education Faculty of Engineering Faculty of Law Faculty of Management Science Faculty of Environmental Science Faculty of Humanities Faculty of Basic Medical Science Faculty of Sciences Faculty of Social Science College of Medical Science The school fees here as at 2019 ranged from 70,000 naira to 150,000 naira which is dependent on your faculty and department.. Indigenes pay lesser amounts for school fees compared to non-indigenes. It runs the following programs; Undergraduate programs Postgraduate programs Sandwich programs All can be done full time or part time. Hostel accommodation are made available for students. Both Undergraduates and postgraduates. The hostel accommodation fee is very affordable. And it comes with perks like; constant water and light. As for the postgraduate hostel, they are well furnished to give the student an easy and better stay. The rooms come with beds, wardrobes, reading tables and chairs. A whole lot of things has changed in Rivers State University, as the school is now very safe and secured. *No more violence* This institution is well respected and ranked as one of the best State owned university in Nigeria. RSU is also filled with renowned Professors and experts in so many fields. This is a place for you, your friends, your family and children.
