I loved being at the box. The staff create a fun and relaxed environment where everyone feels comfortable. The tutors are kind and professional. During my year in Korea this has been one of my most positive experiences. I highly recommend the box for foreigners trying to learn Korean or for Koreans wanting to learn or practice their English. I had an amazing time at “The Box” in Daegu! The Language Exchange Lessons were definitely the highlight of my experience. My Korean teacher was very skilled, patient, and always kept the lessons fun and engaging. Thanks to his guidance, I was able to improve my Korean quickly while genuinely enjoying every session. The friendly atmosphere and supportive staff made the whole experience even better. I highly recommend “The Box” to anyone in Daegu looking to improve their language skills and have a great time doing it!

The box is a great place to meet people and practice communication with Koreans as well as foreigners. Everyone is really friendly and welcoming so that you quickly feel comfortable. Within the first few weeks, the box already became an important place for me and a savespace to learn and meet new people from all over the world.

Stayed at thebox for 3 months and not only learned a lot Korean but also met many super nice people there. My teacher was very passionate and diligent and all the other staff always were very friendly and nice as well. During language exchange I met a lot of locals and even started some friendships! Thebox is a nice place not to only learn language but also get to know cool people. Highly recommend and would always go there again 💕

I lived in Korea for three years and in my final year I decided to try the Box after many people recommended it to me. I had a great time and made so many new friends there. I feel like they were very open and if you are a newcomer to Korea they can definitely help you feel more at home. I laughed a lot and really feel like I was able to create amazing bonds with people. I’m sad to leave but I know I’ll see a lot of my new friends again! If you are ready to make friends from all over the world then try out the Box!
