Standing at some crossroads of life, I have decided to choose a non-conventional path, taking a break from my long career. Almost blindfolded, I have approached AECC Bangladesh for the university application, document preparation, and visa lodgement. I still can remember their first feedback: 'We can't guarantee your success, but if you are willing to, we will help'. That was non-persuasive, straight and bold - maybe that's something non-conventional too. Ms. Mashiat Ahmed had been handling my queries and applications. Most of the exchanges had been over emails, share drives, and WhatsApp, but only during office hours. AECC also helped to lodge the visa application and document review; nevertheless, the applicant needs to prepare/provide all documents by himself. What I felt was that they operate within a strict professional boundary and maintain only necessary communication with the clients.

I applied to the University of Portsmouth through AECC, and Allah blessed me with their great support. My mentor, Mashiat Apu, helped me throughout the whole process. Whenever I contacted her, she replied on time and solved my problems immediately. Her guidance made everything much easier for me.
